CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SERIES

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines Conceptual Art as “an art form in which the artist’s intent is to convey a concept rather than to create an art object.” This is a simple definition that I think works well in describing a complex process that is often as painful as it is cathartic.

Each of these works were created when I found myself struggling to cope with a difficult situation. They helped by allowing me to channel my anxiety and feelings of helplessness into something that required a lot of care in planning and even more time and care in execution.

The images below will take you the gallery for each series where you will find full artist statements for each body of work.
